Windsurfing Canada (WC) holds annual Canadian Windsurfing Championships to determine the top Canadian Man, Woman, Youth male and female windsurfer in Course racing, in Slalom and Freestyle. The WC "Rainbow Outreach" program enables youth to get into a fit for life sport that will provide them with positive directions, role models and a life long road to both mental and physical health. Windsurfing Canada helps develop our future olympians in their strive for excellence in windsurfing for Canada.

TWC Windsurfer in Training for 8-12 year olds in Toronto / GTA
WC is helping organise kids program

The Toronto Windsurfing Club is introducing a Windsurfer in Training pilot program for the 2010 season. It's aim is to introduce youths age 8-12 to the basics of understanding wind patterns and rigging and create a bridge to windsurfing.
The pilot program runs for 6 weeks starting Thursday, July 8 at 6pm.
DATE: July 8th  
TIME:   6:00pm
LOCATION:  TWC Club House
Duration: 6 consecutive weeks

If you have an old laptop, in working condition that you are getting rid of, please consider donating it to WC.

Toronto Windsurfing Clubs 2010 First Wednesday night fun racing starts in May, 6pm Sharp, on the water. (Best to arrive at 5pm to setup if you can) This is open to TWC club members and non members alike. A great way to breakup the week and extend your summer sailing season. Get a race number from Windsurfing Canada and join in on the fun race. The race numbers will help committe boat to keep track of racers and their positions. Pay as you go BBQ at beach to follow Race. All Racers are welcome (If you are a visiting racer and need to borrow a board for a race, so that you can participate, please contact TWC LTW co-ordinator Andrew lazsadi learn_to_windsurf@yahoo.ca

Windsurf Canada "Rainbow Outreach"
Windsurfing Canada is looking for donations/sponsorship for it's new "Rainbow O utreach" program. Based on the successful Sail the Rainbow program implemented 2 years ago, it builds on that multilevel Learn to Windsurf program for kids for all ages from 7 to 70. The program is designed to promote safe windsurfing and its healthy lifes tyle that can keep you fit for life. There are subsidized spots for kids that c an't afford to learn to windsurf.
