OS/WC Race#1 Winners
It was a great turnout to 2008 OS/WC race #1 at the Toronto Windsurfing Club. Warm sunny skys and a light breeze of 5-12 knots let us get 5 races off by mid afternoon. Over 23 racers participated, of which there were 6 in the youth categories. Special thanks to: Chris Hope, Louise and Ian Hayes for Race committee, Elena Kurzenova for registration, Eva Butlykin for shore committee, Jenny Tucker for lunch, Nick Cox for scoring, Natalino Lattanzio for videotaping/photos and Toronto Windsurfing Club for hosting the race.

Overall winners of all 5 race's were- Masao Abe 1st place, Michael Keltz 2nd place, David Hayes 3rd place.

Womens Masters winners- Andree Gauthier 1st place, Stephanie Todd 2nd

OS/WC Race#2 Winners
It was a great day at 2008 OS/WC race #2 at the Nepean Yacht Club. Warm sunny skys and a light breeze of 4-11 knots let us get 6 races off by mid afternoon. Special thanks to: Alex Dumond for organising: Race committee, registration, lunch, scoring, videotaping/photos and Nepean Yacht Club for hosting the race.

Overall winners of all 5 race's were- Nick Cox 1st place, Tom Mae 2nd place, Ling Yue-Hung 3rd place.

OS/WC Race# 3
Rondeau lived up to its windy reputation at the 2008 OS/WC race #3 at the Rondeau Yacht Club. Warm hazy skies with a rising breeze of 12-16 knots let us get 5 races off before abandoning the last race due to the approaching storm. Special thanks to: David French for organising race,lunch, being the Co-Race committee, photography. John Darling for Race committee, scoring, Fauna Coates for helping with registration, and Rondeau Yacht Club for hosting the race.

OS/WC Race# 4
Lake Scugog 2008 OS/WC race #4 was a challenge from the start, with delaying the first race till after lunch due to passing thunderstorms. A rising breeze of 10 knots rampped up with gusts over 18 knots by the beginning second race, and then up over 25 knots by the end of the 2nd race. With most racers overpowered they struggled to get in. After getting everyone safely off the water and polling the racers it was decided to call it a day. Special thanks to: Reet Mae for organising race,lunch, being the Co-Race committee, scoring. John Darling for Race committee, scoring, Birgitt and Anna for helping with Lunch Craig Belfry for safety boat and his lifeguards for registration, Kelly from Beacon Marina for hosting the race.

OS/WC Race# 5
Britannia Yacht Club race brought sunny skies and light winds. with 2 races down on the Saturday, we carried on over to Sunday when we managed to get a number of light air races by just after lunch. Special thanks to: Lynne Delorme for organising race, Britannia Yacht Club for hosting the race.

OS/WC Race#6
It was a great turnout to the last 2008 OS/WC race #6 at the Toronto Windsurfing Club. With a mix of sun and cloud, it wasn't until after lunch that the wind gave us 4-8 knots of extremely light breeze that let us get 3 races off. 26 racers participated, of which there were 9 in the youth categories. A prize draw was held after the final race of the 6 part series. All racers that had participated in the OS 2008 Race series were elgible for prizes.
